| SBC© History Satto’s bridge Club started September 2004 as an open tourney. I hosted my first tourney, because I wanted to do a memorial for a friend; my coTDs were aramesh_ (Hobson’s Choice) now YELLOW, Raghavan (Bridge in India) and jw_nl coTD in both. I have been TD in 200 Satto’s Bridge Clubs. In the same period I was coTD in Hobson’s Choice (260), Bridge in India (85) and in Dejo’s tourney, Friendly and Fast, (about 50). I did also help other hosts with directing and I have “educated” 3 TDs. From beginning Satto’s bridge Club was set to start 10.00 AM CET, we needed to finish before Hobson’s Choice 11.30 AM CET. The private club SBC© had it's birth 4th April 2005, I was tired of all the complaining players in big tourneys, sorry! When Rock around the clock started up and had an INDY 9.00 AM CET, I changed to set SBC© to start 10.15 AM CET, then members could play both tourneys. From beginning the members were helping the club with making rules, and we had a committee to help too. From August 2005 SBC© got more TDs, I wanted to relax and play too. Since that time we have run 2 tourneys per day, with many very good TDs directing. Best regards, satto aka Pia |
